ListenUp

ListenUp records, playsback audio in web page using simple GUI. Uploads recording to web server. Comes with voice compression for bitrates as low as 5 kbps. Uploads message to server using standard multi-part MIME format, HTTP POST. Uses same technology as HTML FORMs. Server scripts can be written in PHP, JSP, ASP or other language. Optional text fields can be uploaded w/WAV file. Dynamic range compression, noise gate, silence trim are available.

ListenUp is a client/server solution for recording sound in a web browser, and uploading that sound to a web server using simple GUI. Web designers can choose sampling rates from 8000Hz to 44100Hz. Voice compression for bitrates can be as low as 5 kbps.
